Boot Camper of the month, Gideon Bernstein
Congratulations to Gideon Bernstein for being selected as B.O.M. for September.
Gideon has been attending Trainer Ali’s FBBC since December of 2015. During this time, he has made some remarkable progress in his fitness regiment and approach to nutrition. When Gideon first started attending, he suffered from back pain, and other nagging ailments which could be attributed to a lack of consistent exercise. He also wanted to conquer mountain climbing but suffered from a fear of heights. By staying committed to regular attendance and some tweaks to his nutrition, he started to notice a marked difference in his physical appearance, energy levels and motivation to conquer his fears.
Today, Gideon can be witnessed flying through boot camp exercises with the strength and speed he never experienced before. His transformation has been a thing to both witness and marvel as he gets stronger and leaner.
Because of this amazing progress, Gideon has been able to conquer his goal of mountain climbing and competed in two EPIC series races, where he performed better than average for his age group. In addition, he placed third in the weight loss challenge held at FBBC this past spring, yielding significant results.
Gideon is somewhat of a world traveler having visited various locations within the United States, as well as regions overseas. In each locale, Gideon can be witnessed performing burpees, running, conducting pushups, often with a notorious landmark or historical site in the background, while sporting a Fit Body Boot Camp T-shirt. In other words, Gideon does not allow travel to interfere with his workouts and seizes the opportunity to record these events on social media, sharing these exploits with everyone.
Gideon’s success and transformation have been impressive and inspirational. His unwavering commitment to his health and fitness prove to be an inspiration and an example to others. It’s especially important to note that he used fitness to get through a very difficult time recently after losing his son, Blaze. Instead of allowing anger and bitterness to set in, he stayed true to his health and fitness and started a movement to spread the “Do Good for Blaze” message around the world.
Congratulations, Gideon. We feel privileged to have you as B.O.M. for September.
